    Big Words – Small Words

    Salubrious – Good, healthy, pure

    Sanguine – Lively, hopeful, optimistic

    Satirise – Lash, ridicule, abuse

    Scaffold – Platform, stage, frame

    Salve – Raise, rescue, save

    Sagacity – Knowledge, shrewdness

    Scamper – Fly, hurry, hasten

    Scourge -Whip, beat, punish

    Sectarian – Intolerant, narrow, bigoted

    Anodyne – Sedative, narcotic, opiate
