    Big Words – Small Words

    Crossgrained – Headstrong, perverse, wayward

    Crotchety – Fanciful, odd, queer

    Cravat – Necktie, neck-cloth, neckerchief

    Corypheus – Chief, leader, guide, director

    Courtly – Civil, elegant, gracious

    Cuspidate – Sharp, acute, pointed

    Corrugate – Bend, turn, curl

    Cynosure – Centre, point, attraction
