Friends of Liberation War Honour :
Former Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister the late Jagjivan Ram was posthumously awarded “Friends of Liberation War Honour” by Bangladesh for his contribution to the 1971 war. The award was presented in Dhaka on October 24, 2012.
Besides, Bangladesh also honored 61 persons for
their contribution in making the country a liberated one. Out of those, 52 persons are from India itself.
