Another PU alumnus, who did his BA, LLB from the University Institute of Legal Studies and is currently pursuing his PhD at JNU after MPhil from the same university. His father, J S Maanipur is an advocate at Punjab and Haryana high court and Supreme Court and mother Gurmeet Kaur is a housewife. “I completed my schooling from St Kabir School, Sector 26 and owe a lot to my parents for their support,” he said. This was his third attempt and despite cracking the exam last time, he aspired for a better rank. “I qualified the last time, but wanted to improve my chance,’ said Harpreet. He says he always knew he would crack the test, even if he had to wait.
