Pulok Chatterji is an INDIAN CIVIL SERVANT presently serving as the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of India. He is a 1974 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from Uttar Pradesh cadre.
He moved to the PMO as Deputy Secretary when Rajiv Gandhi took over as PM in 1985. Prior to this, he was the Executive Director to the World Bank. in my opinion withstanding between sonia and manmohan ji was a big challenge for him and he did it in a wise manner ….so we may accept him as a top bureaucrat…
