Saloni Sidana, a medico, has cracked UPSC Civil Services Examination, the most prestigious exam in 2013 and has secured 74th rank and has produced brilliant result.
Saloni says, “Being an IAS in first attempt was not a cakewalk; but, it was neither like climbing a mountain. It’s difficult a little but if one gets goods guidance, does smart work, be persistent and does not lose hope, then it can be achieved beautifully and easily. As she did, one should enjoy the process and predating journey as much as the final destination”.

Family Background
Saloni Sidana’s father Anish Sidana is a rice mill owner in Jalalabad. Her mother is a housewife, she have one elder sister and a younger brother and they all live in Jalalabad. They always believed in her dreams and gave her freedom to choose whatever she wanted to do; and the way she wanted to.
Her father being engaged in social services was always an inspiration and mother was a motivation to achieve what she aspire. Her brother and sister always supported her for her dream and helped her to accomplish it.

Educational Background
Dr. Saloni completed her MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College and Associated Hospitals College Of Nursing, Delhi in the year 2012. She also got gold medals in Biochemistry, Physiology and Forensic Medicine.
