Tour de France 2012 : Bradley Wiggins of Britain clinched the title at the 2012 Tour de France cycling competition that concluded in Paris, France on July 22, 2012. This year was the 99th edition of the world’s greatest and most prestigious cycling race. Wiggins, who represented the Sky team, became the first Britishman ever to win the competition. His compatriot Chris Froome finished second.
