During Lord Dufferin regime entire Burma was annexed in 1887.
Birth of Indian National Congress : The educated Indians being dissatisfied with the provisions of Indian Councils Act of 1861 organised the Indian National Congress in 1885. It was supported by British Officials like Sir Allan Octavian Hume.
