He became the first player to capture the same Grand Slam tide eight times and the first and only player in the Grand Slam history to win singles tides four times in a row on two separate occasions. Women’s Singles : Serena Williams of USA won the women’s singles tide on June 8, 2013, beating Maria Sharapova of Russia 6-4, 6-4 in the final. Men’s Doubles : American twin brothers Bob and Mike Bryan won the men’s doubles title, beating Michael Llodra and Nicolas Mahut of France in the final. Women’s Doubles : The Russian duo of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina claimed their maiden Grand Slam tide by beating Italian top seeds Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci in the women’s doubles final. Mixed Doubles : The Czech duo of Lucie Hradecka and Frantisek Cermak won the mixed doubles title, beating Kristina Mladenovic of France and Daniel Nestor of Canada.
